The Jefferson Library is a gateway to information on Thomas Jefferson and his life, times, and legacy. To this end, the Library collects a wide variety of materials, including books, and other media. We’re proud that Signs of Freedom has become a part of a collection so closely tied to the roots of our true American heritage.
Sometimes it is hard to express to people who aren’t part of the Tea Party Movement what it is all about. Sadly, the mainstream media, and even our elected representatives, have smeared the movement and attempted to label it as racist, uninformed, or fabricated from the top down. This book, more than anything I have ever come across, dispels these myths and brings the true heart of the Tea Party movement to light. With beautiful — and often hilariously clever — photographs of American Patriots engaging in peaceful protest (that truly American activity), interlaced with a thoughtful and historically informed argument against the current trend in government toward more control, more debt, and less freedom, Signs of Freedom will reinvigorate Tea Party Patriots across the country to redouble their dedication to the cause, and will force the nay-sayers to reexamine their prior dismissal and stereotyping of this historic American movement. The next time you are trying to tell someone about what the Tea Party means to you, you will be doing yourself a favor by having this book on hand. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes those words are the most important things our fellow Americans can hear. I for one will be telling everyone I know about this powerful and potentially game-changing book, and I suggest you do the same. -Andrew Sharp, Liberty Lover

Dear Stephanie,
Your book should make HISTORY. It represents the feelings of all TRUE Americans & mirrors the actions of politicians who are forever in the pockets of BIG BUSINESS from the food & drug world who, sadly to say, are the big kingpin of the USA.
Congratulations!
